Website Design Brief

Blacksod Sea Safari needed a new website to showcase its exhilarating boat tours along the Wild Atlantic Way and to make it easier for visitors to explore, plan, and book their adventures online. The brief focused on delivering a visually striking, mobile-friendly platform that would capture the energy of the experience while remaining easy to navigate and accessible to all users.

Little Blue Studio delivered a bold, custom-designed WordPress website that brings the thrill of the sea safari to life. The site integrates seamlessly with the client’s online booking system, allowing users to browse tour options and make reservations with ease.

In line with Fáilte Ireland’s Digital that Delivers programme, the site was built to the latest WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, ensuring an inclusive user experience across devices. Stunning imagery plays a key role in conveying the atmosphere of the tours, while clear calls to action guide users through the booking journey.

The final result is a fast, engaging, and future-proof website that supports the growth of this unique tourism experience on Ireland’s west coast.

  • Working with Little Blue Studio on a tight schedule of delivery for KWETB’s new website was smooth and seamless from them as providers. Little Blue Studio delivered to the timeline and conditions in the contract and proved a professional company who were excellent at time management. Their approach was inclusive and collaborative across all areas, ensuring the service was considerate of the needs of the ETB and that the end product aligned with the values of the ETB. Little Blue Studio provided guidance and expertise in plain English to us with patience and understanding. They were receptive to our needs throughout the delivery of the project and the support we have received since engaging with them for our website has been a significant help for our communication platform.

  • With our first Zoom presentation, I met this person called Elaine who was surrounded by books, her workspace was beautiful. We could tell this person knew her stuff. When she spoke, I thought she had previously worked in the Aquarium, as she told us about the Aquarium in a way that knew our brand, and audience. She had reported on our needs and the things they could base our website on. Her energy and passion for the process was well-intended and based on technical expertise. Our new website is brilliant, and it presents the Aquarium to a whole new world of visitors. We are proud of it and delighted that Little Blue Studio went above and beyond for us.
